Prosthodontists are masters of complete oral rehabilitation. Dr. Daxon has advanced training in the function of the masticatory system — how the teeth, muscles, and jaw joints work together to create a balanced and comfortable bite. Common conditions that can be treated by a prosthodontist include:
- Broken or missing teeth
- Teeth that are misshapen, crooked or discolored
- Jaw pain, headaches, and other TMJ related issues
Your Treatment Options
To determine your treatment options, we’ll first need to know the cause of your discomfort. If you have broken or missing teeth, then we can offer dental implants, bridges, crowns, and denture solutions. If your teeth are simply crooked or discolored, then we can offer teeth whitening, dental crowns, bridges, implants, and porcelain veneers. But, if your discomfort is from jaw pain or other severe TMJ related issues, then surgical treatment may be required. During our consultation, we’ll examine your smile and create a dental plan based on your specific needs.
